# PERMISSION_DENIED

> Permission denied (403)

The caller is authenticated but may not do this.

| `403` | No | Permission denied |

## Common causes

* The action needs a role the caller doesn't have.
* A storage reference points outside your organization's namespace.

## What to do

Use a key or user with access, or ask an admin of your organization.
