# PROCESSING_TIMEOUT

> Processing timed out (504)

The request took longer than Pulse waits for an answer.

| `504` | Yes | Processing timed out |

## Common causes

* A large document sent synchronously.

## What to do

Retry, or send the request with `async: true` and poll the job.

## Example
